The GCZ-112 is a Chinese armoured engineering vehicle. It is based on a Type 96 main battle tank chassis. This armoured engineer vehicle is in service with the Chinese military.
The GCZ-112 accompanies assault groups, its main role is to clear routes and various obstacles for advancing main battle tanks and other armoured vehicles. The GCZ-112 can be used for various roles, including earthmoving operations, road clearing, grading, filling ditches.
Turret of the Type 96 has been removed and replaced with a superstructure and telescopic excavator arm. In traveling order the crane is traversed to the rear. This machine also has a large dozer blade at the front. It can be used in a V-shape or straight configuration. During earth working operations the dozer blade has a capacity of around 250 m³. When not in use the blade is folded upwards.
The amour protection of the GCZ-112 is similar to that of the Type 96 main battle tank. This engineer vehicle was designed to operate under enemy fire. The GCZ-112 carries no defensive armament.
This machine is operated by a crew of 3.
The GCZ-112 is powered by diesel engine, developing 1000 hp.
This vehicle blueprint includes meticulously crafted desert and forest themed textures, a fully rigged structure, and animated components such as turret rotation, gun elevation, and opening hatches. Additionally, it offers a detailed damage model with realistic visual effects. The blueprint also includes firing animations and dynamic effects, such as dust trails generated by the tank’s movement.
The asset is designed as a standard Unreal vehicle with a detailed interior, allowing for an immersive experience. It can be customized and adapted to suit specific project requirements. The GCZ-112 is fully drivable, utilizing accurate physics simulations provided by Epic Games’ Chaos Vehicles plugin. Please ensure that the Chaos Vehicles plugin is enabled for optimal vehicle movement. The scene incorporates Epic Games’ Volumetrics plugin for realistic cloud formations and utilizes Lumen for advanced lighting effects.
Included with the blueprint is a sample showcase/demo Blueprint featuring an environment map and a user interface (UI). When you “Play” the map, the UI provides camera presets, sliders, and buttons, showcasing the key functionalities of the GCZ-112.
This asset includes the use of Epic Games’ Volumetrics plugin and Chaos Vehicles system plugin for demonstration purposes only. However, the vehicle asset can be utilized and modified in personal projects without these plugins enabled.
The Volumetrics plugin enables the creation and rendering of realistic environmental clouds, utilizing its volume creation and rendering tools. The Chaos Vehicles system plugin offers realistic physics simulations for authentic vehicle movement.
