Here are some key features of the Kuznetsov-class aircraft carrier: Admiral Kuznetsov is the only operational carrier of this class. It was launched in 1985 and named after Soviet Admiral Nikolay Gerasimovich Kuznetsov.

The Kuznetsov-class carriers have a distinctive ski-jump flight deck, which is a design choice used by the Russian Navy. This design is intended to assist aircraft during take off.

The carrier is capable of carrying a mix of fixed-wing aircraft, including fighter jets and helicopters. The Sukhoi Su-33 is one of the primary fixed-wing aircraft operated from these carriers.

In addition to aircraft, Kuznetsov-class carriers are equipped with a variety of anti-aircraft and anti-ship missile systems, as well as close-in weapon systems for defence against incoming threats.

The carriers use a combination of steam and gas turbine propulsion systems. The propulsion system has been a subject of discussion and maintenance issues.

The Kuznetsov-class carrier primarily served in the Russian Navy’s Northern Fleet. It has been involved in various military exercises and operations.

There have been discussions about the modernization or replacement of the Admiral Kuznetsov. Plans for a new generation of Russian aircraft carriers have been considered.

The vehicle is ready for import into your DIS/HLA (RPR FOM) simulation projects. As such, it is not set up as a traditional Unreal asset with an interior but can be modified as needed to suit your purpose.

A sample showcase/demo Blueprint has been included with an environment map and User Interface (UI). When you “Play” the map, the UI includes camera presets, sliders, and buttons to demonstrate the key functionalities of the asset.

  4. Thanks for the models, all are great for populating or learning as I am a simple hobbyist learning unreal engine. I have been spending a lot of time using a top view 2d engine but need to do something in 3d for a change.
